Setback

The upper lobe of Alexandar's right lung partially collapsed this evening. The doctors intubated him again at about 9:30 PM. At one point there were 11 people (doctors and nurses) in his room helping the process. The whole thing was very surreal. It took four doses of morphine to get Alexandar relaxed enough for the procedure. Which says to me he's a tough little boy who doesn't plan to just give up - which we already knew. This is a setback, but they only plan to keep him intubated as long as needed - which probably means it'll come out again Monday. Please pray that this setback is just a minor bump in the road to his healthy recovery. Keep fighting, Alexandar. We love you.
