At the end of May of this year, Dan Catt (who works for Flickr) wrote that Flickr started publishing syndication feeds for photos taken in geographical locations.

For example, I subscribe to photos taken in Madison, WI. I've found a ton of interesting photos this way. You can hack it yourself by substituting the State and City and subscribing to photos taken in your own city/town (see Dan's post for more hints).
